face2face is a six level general English course for adults and young adults. It goes from Starter level through to Advanced. The Student's Book provides approximately 60 hours of core teaching material, which can be extended to 90 hours with the inclusion of the photocopiable resources and extra ideas in the Teacher's Book. An interactive CD-ROM/Audio CD encourages learner autonomy, with exercises in all language areas, extra pronunciation activities, a progress chart, customisable tests and video. A selection of 'Real World' material can also be listened to using a normal CD player. New for the Starter level, 'Help with Sounds' activities enable students to improve their pronunciation by focusing on individual sounds.

face2face is a six level general English course for adults and young adults. It goes from Starter level through to Advanced. The Workbook offers additional practise for students of face2face Starter, with self-study exercises which practise all the language taught in the Student's Book — including exercises on pronunciation and spelling. It also features a Reading and Writing Portfolio linked to the CEF, which contains ten extra double-page lessons to be used either for self-study or in class. What's more, a list of 'Can do' statements helps students to track their own progress in reading and writing. The Workbook also features a removable Answer Key, which can simply be pulled free of the books binding.

The photocopiable activities include 10 Vocabulary Plus worksheets to teach additional high-frequency vocabulary, 10 Progress Tests and over 20 Class Activities to provide extra communicative language practice. The Teacher's Book also contains a description of the face2face methodology, a visual reference guide to the key features of the Student's Book and an easy-to-use reference showing how face2face Starter relates to the requirements of level A1 of the CEF. It also includes photocopiable instructions for the Student's Book CD-ROM/Audio CD.
