Tailor Strapinsky, poor and hungry, arrives in Seldvyla where he looks for a job. Local people mistake him for a prince and he finds himself involved in very complicated situations. At the end the truth comes out and when things seem to be going very bad, the love of a woman will save the tailor’s life from all these lies. A classic story by Gottfried Keller, representative of the nineteenth-century Realist Literature.
