This is a two-level course designed for teenage learners at intermediate and upper intermediate level. Combining a topic base with grammar and skills development, the course prepares students for the First Certificate exam. Each level provides 80-100 hours of classroom work.

New Discoveries is an adaptation of the Discoveries series: the original material of the three part course is divided into four stages. The Grammar Practice is now incorporated into the Students' Book and tests are included in the Teacher's Book.
